Deconstructing Bill O' Bama

OK... it was a well-considered investment of the audience, state of anticipation and general mood of national celebration of media hype that would end come kick-off.  It was Super Bowl Sunday afternoon.  If you weren't already where you were going for the game ... the GAME, you were not going to have a live participation in the viewing thereof.  O'Reilley was neither The Factor host nor the "Worst Person In The World" number one, two or three.  He was a matador, cape-waving and flambouyant, the perfect "Show" leading up to the pre-game show.
The Occupant of the Oval Office (OOO) was his considered, corporate banker self.  On an information mission, he's the "do it myself" original researcher finally writing his dissertation.  His uninformed, too frequent lapses into Fox News-bashing made new enemies of the very independents who elected him.   Dynamics of ratings being what they are, folks tune out Rush, dial over to Kieth/Whoopie/Maher for their take. Once the Bush Administration Information Ministry; un-questioning, imbalanced and, frankly contemptious of other views, Fox acquired new respect for professionalism following the 2006 elections and are ahead of the Democrats on the learning curve. Viewers are, for a brief moment, also "Voters."  2008 Primaries exposed the entire Fourth Estate, forcing Viewers/Voters to dial around to achieve balance not offered by individual news organs.

(Did 70 million viewers really tune in to see Barbara Walters interview Monica Lewinski?  Says a lot.
Viewers look for two things:
  1. a chance to see for themselves
  2. how the interviewer treats the interviewee)
Gradually, I come to accept that our Affirmative Action President is teaching the children who elected him by letting them watch his evolution from a Socialist into a full-blooded Patriot.  He persued the power without performing the empowering exercises.  Misconceptions about Power are no different than those about Love.  We don't always realize what it is we're in,...love, power, trouble,...'til a "Higher Power" brings us up short.  Smackin' down Bill Clinton was a favorite Troll Game for a while, and Hillary was/is fair game for their dismissive review.  Sarah Palin, likewise, keeps them "distracted" from the duties of the "empowered" for long enough that the POWER - always seeking a worthy, able processor - finds one and takes up residence therein...."worthy, able" being the opreative characteristics.

I guess the Chamber of Commerce members know a user when they hear one.  In the President, they heard a user, albiet one with the keys to the vault they want to check out.  So there he was, before them yesterday, dangling the keys, playing the Business Community, no reason to expect anything less than the same "Fools Willing To Play By His Rools." that he found in organized labor, the Fourth Estate and Congress.  They're not looking at what they have, what they're IN:  they're looking at what they can - or believe they can - GET!

Submission disabused me of the notion that Obama has power.  Holding the office doesn't equate to having all the resources of the United States "Under My Thumb."  Love reassures me that resources demand to be exchanged, incorporated into the process and developed.  Egypt is the demonstration of HUMAN RESOURCES looking for validation through gratifying work.  The billions funnelled by the United States into the Egyptian Army fostered a taste for stability.  The Human Resources of Egypt want nothing more than a system in which to apply their skills and resources, for an opportunity to earn and play.  We're all the same; we all want the same things.  Even the Muslim Brotherhood, given the chance, would drop their hate/fight if something worth doing was available.  Wanting to Be the Boss just because, is a childish, ignorant, unworthy goal.  Those who put their efforts into such pursuit arrive, inevitably, to that awareness.   Thus we hear the "O" --- not loving being in the Bubble, the ultimate prison where Wanna Be Tough Guys of the jungle are sent to "Hold Office."

"Can't Get No Satisfaction" gave us somewhere else to look while the Beatles were re-inventing themselves, looking within to find their Musician Selves.  Touring Japan, their audience was warned not to scream or act up and thus - for the first time in years, the Band had to actually hear how poorly they were performing.  Into the Studio they fled, never again to emerge ... except, once, impromptu, on the rooftop of a London building.  "Get Back To Where You Once Belonged." they sang...anybody within ear shot knew something awesome was going down and they stopped  ...
                                                                              before Twitter or cell phones,
just aware,
knew enough to prepare
- to capture the response of the people
with cameras
everywhere

...  not all were delighted.  Some were inconvenienced - business interests acted a little like a Train Wreck mangled their day.  One liked the free concert, Elders were "cool" with their lads checking in.

Hearing the set, it appears from their playlist, that they knew

they were

Moving onjtu another Plane...
Catching the Train...
Get Back, Loretta!

Be what you are and Enjoy Your Band, your Mates, your Ensemble.

I ask you, Barak: what do you love doing?  What's both the hardest and the most gratifying work you do?  How does it "Recreate" you?  How does it help me?  Here it is, BO:  it's my job to off-load every facet of your Presidency.  Without me, you can't.  Period.  I have nothing to dangle before you, no tricks, no gateway to the next power trip, no praise, no party.  All I can show you is the better way.  All I promise is instant affirmation.  All you get from me is the demand for more, more, more, and I ain't talking physical.  You can't push me, you can't test me.  You can't take me anywhere I haven't already broken ground, and until I break new ground, you can't either.  The next game on the calendar is for Gentlemen.  Only teams with a female performing member may play.  Because they're TEAMS, they unite in their purpose, exchange freely and benefit equally, mutually.  You cannot pay to play this game.  You just have to be good enough.
