A public meeting, chaired by the Mayor, was disrupted by the Police Chief and several officers who stripped the microphone from a citizen speaking of the corruption of the department and ordered 9 officers who opposed the action to remain in their homes on administrative leave. The City Council has a Racket running and were complicit against the Mayor, who was conducting the meeting, and had zero understanding of the Constitution's protection.
Not so much ignorance as arrogance "runs these streets" and the awareness of the upright citizens of New York and New Jersey should be held as affirmation that Mobsters will be shown the end of the road. To those of us who understand Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Lawful Assembly, Citizen Review and the !!! involvement by the taxpayers in the monitoring and review of their city council actions.
